1. Use of the App
My Story Tonight is intended for personal, non-commercial use by parents and caregivers to generate bedtime stories for children. You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse-engineer it, or use it in any way that violates applicable laws or these terms.
2. Generated Content
Stories, illustrations, and narration are generated by AI on your behalf. You may use generated content for personal, non-commercial purposes — such as enjoying stories with your family. You may not resell, redistribute, or use generated content for commercial purposes without written permission from MK Ideas.
3. Subscriptions
My Story Tonight offers a free tier and a Pro subscription. Pro is available as:
- Monthly subscription
- Annual subscription
- Lifetime one-time purchase
Subscriptions are billed through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Android) and are subject to their respective billing policies.
4. Cancellation & Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's App Store or Google Play account settings. Upon cancellation, Pro access continues through the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective policies. MK Ideas does not process refunds directly.
5. Your Content
Character names, descriptions, and adventure details you enter are used solely to generate your story and are not stored on our servers after delivery. You are responsible for any content you choose to input into the app.
6. Intellectual Property
The My Story Tonight app, its design, branding, and underlying code are owned by MK Ideas. All rights are reserved. AI-generated stories and illustrations are created at your request and may be used for personal enjoyment.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
My Story Tonight is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that generated content will always meet your expectations. AI-generated content may occasionally be imperfect — we appreciate your patience and encourage you to use the support contact if something seems off.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MK Ideas shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The date at the top of this page reflects when the terms were last updated.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of law principles.
