Data Stored on Your Device
The following data is saved exclusively in a local database on your device. MK Ideas has no servers and never receives this data:
- Trip data - dates, spots, notes, catch details, weather conditions
- Location data - GPS coordinates of your fishing spots
- Photos - trip and catch photos you take or import within the app
Data That Leaves Your Device
Voice Recordings (Deepgram)
When you use the voice entry feature, your audio recording is sent to Deepgram solely to convert speech to text. The transcription is returned to your device and the recording is not stored by MK Ideas or linked to your identity in any way.
Subscriptions (RevenueCat)
If you subscribe to Track My Bite Pro, your purchase is processed by Apple or Google. RevenueCat receives an anonymous device/user ID and your App Store or Play Store receipt to validate your subscription status. MK Ideas never receives your payment card information.
Weather Data (Open-Meteo)
The app fetches weather data for your trip location and date from Open-Meteo, a free weather API. Only your approximate coordinates and trip date are sent. No personally identifiable information is transmitted.
Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other contact information. We have no user accounts. We do not use advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or crash reporting tools of any kind.

Children's Privacy
Track My Bite does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is rated 4+ and does not contain any content restricted to older audiences.
Data Deletion
All trip data, photos, and location information are stored locally on your device. You can delete all data at any time by deleting the app. There is no account to close because no account is ever created.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this URL with an updated date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
